Miura
Building a brand to match its craftsmanship
Miura has hand forged irons in Japan for decades, and if you play golf, you know the name. The clubs feel like butter. The brand looked like everyone else in the category, which is a problem when everyone else is a Honda and you're a Porsche. So we rebuilt the identity around the work that goes into them, and made sure you can see it.

In the pursuit of perfection
Miura says it often, and they mean it literally. Every iron is another attempt at something they don’t expect to finish. The factory is cement and metal and noise, and Mr. Miura grinds the heads by hand in it. So we pulled that into the identity: raw texture and the marks of the work, against clubs that come out flawless.
Where we pulled back
Someone about to spend real money on a set of irons shouldn’t land on something loud. So we made the site the quietest the identity ever gets. Plenty of room, torn paper edges, lifestyle photography left raw with grain pushed into it. It’s the cleanest version of the whole thing, and it still belongs to the same brand.
